Hi, my name is Yunecia C. I have been following your page on Facebook and I love the way you are empowering women to get fit, healthy and stay that way. I started my weight loss journey about 2 years ago and I’ve lost a total of 83 pounds so far. I decided that I want to be healthy and not have any health issues. Also, I want to live in a way that will help me have a longer, healthier life.
My motivation is my son, Za’Marrious Washington. I wanted to be able to see him grow up and be active in his life. My inspiration comes from all the people that I know or have met that are inspired by my weight loss journey. I have met so many people that have told me I am their inspiration and who want me to give them my healthy tips so that they can lose weight too.
I changed my eating habits by drinking only water and green tea, eating green vegetables and eating plenty of protein. I also picked a time to stop eating each night, such as 7 or 8 pm. The foods that I stopped eating are sweets, pasta and grains. My workout routine is a 2 hour workout in the gym on the treadmill, bicycle and elliptical machine every other day or at least 3 days a week. The advice that I have for others is, “Stay strong, no matter how hard the journey might get.” You will not see the results at the very start your journey, but if you keep striving the result will be satisfying and all the hard work will pay off. Always remember: Your Journey will not be Easy but it will be Worth It!
