Update May 2017: Vivian has lost 80.2 pounds.
Jan 2017 – Vivian wrote in to share that she’s lost 24.2 more pounds since October for a total of 72 lbs. gone.
“Now, I’m down 72 pounds. I continue to watch and maintain my calorie and carb intake using the MyFitnessPal app. I continue to walk up the parking towers at my job for exercise. Also, I do 20-30 minutes of cardio at home. I learned that you have to constantly maintain your health and fitness as a daily lifestyle in order to stay healthy and stick to it. You have to be strong mentally and physically to do this. I always say, “Have a plan and stick to it”. Pray and keep positive people around you to inspire and motivate you. That’s the best advice I can give anyone.”
Vivian lost 47.8 pounds. At 400 pounds, she was having medical issues and was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. Wanting to avoid being on medication for a lifetime, she took her doctors advice, began eating low carb and started working out regularly. Check out her journey.
I started this journey on June 15, 2016, because I was having so many health complications and was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I refused to be on any medication for life. I wanted a better a healthier lifestyle and to be able to do things with my nieces and nephew. I want to help, encourage others and show them that they can too live better and bring positive vibes.
My starting weight was 400.2 pounds. As of October, I’ve lost 47.8 pounds and over 35 inches. My height is 5’8″. I’ve been on this journey for 4 months. (Weight loss surgery has never been a part of my journey.)
My doctor put me on a high protein, low carb diet. I eat baked meat and green vegetables. No fruit. I also drink a Core Power Elite chocolate high protein shakes in the morning and at noon. For exercise, I mainly do cardio. I love kickboxing and squats. I exercise at least 3 times a week and I walk a lot at work on my breaks
Stay encouraged and always keep GOD first. Keep positive people by your side. Be motivated. Change will happen. Pray and keep positive people around you.

You’ve brought tears to my eyes – Spectacular Job! Lovely collaboration between you and your Doctor. Good on you. (*I don’t want to eat all that protein, but I will try increasing vege and cutting down the carbs). This is a very strong Testimony,
