Lanitra lost 133 pounds. She has continued to make progress by refusing to go back to using unhealthy food for comfort. She also learned what her eating triggers are and how to get to the root of her problems. Check out her update.
I lost 133 pounds, 67.5 inches 37% body fat. I worked with LA Graham at Body Wisdom Wellness. I’m determined to go all the way and reach my target weight of 150 pounds. I also want to help as many people as possible!
How have you maintained your success?
I continue to eat fruits and vegetables only. I walk a few times a week for 30 minutes to an hour. Once I made up my mind to lose weight, I refused to go back to the foods that weren’t good for me! I continue to eat fruits and vegetables only. I also walk a few times a week for 30 minutes to an hour.
I’ve learned how to deal with the root of my problems instead of treating the symptoms. If something bothers me or triggers me, I’ve learned not to use food for comfort and actually identify where the trigger is coming from. I pray and continually build myself up, telling myself that it is possible, and it’s happening!
What advice would you like to share?
You can do anything you put your mind to do. It’s not hard when you are determined. Focus on what you can have versus what you can’t have and think outside the box.
Your right now is not your forever! Give yourself permission to choose you and be intentional!. Let your faith be bigger than your fears. Go after your goals, dreams, and ambitions on purpose. You can, you shall, and you will succeed!
You are a winner! There is destiny inside you. There is a purpose inside of you. Everything you endured it was necessary. Use it as fuel to drive you into your journey of success. Broken crayons can still color a beautiful picture.
There is value in you! There is greatness inside of you. Let them see how great you are. You are enough. You are worth it, and you deserve it. See it before you see it. Live like you see it. It’s already done!
