Shout out to Chryssy. She lost 25 more pounds since we featured her in January, for a total of 87 pounds. Intermittent fasting, eating a vegan, alkaline diet, and working out with Youtube videos worked for her.
I just wanted to give you an update from my last submission! My weight loss journey is still coming along!
My Highest weight: 298 pounds
Previous story update: 233 pounds
Current weight: 211 pounds
My total weight loss is 87lbs. My goal is 180lbs, so I have 31 pounds to go!
What was your motivation? What inspired you when you wanted to give up?
My well-being is my motivation. My weight loss journey allowed me to have a totally different outlook on life that I didn’t have when I was bigger. I feel like my transformation has healed me emotionally, mentally, and physically. When I wanted to give up, thinking about my family and my dreams kept me going.
How did you change your eating habits?
I decided to become a vegetarian and cut my calorie intake down to 1600. I increased my water intake and cut out sodas. In the beginning, I did intermittent fasting and the Dr. Sebi method (alkaline raw vegan lifestyle) to kickstart my journey.
What did your workout routine consist?
Now I work out three times a week doing online workout videos by Lucy Wyndham Reed on Youtube.
What is your height?
5’3″
When did you start your journey?
June 2018. I’m still going strong! Hopefully, before April of 2020, I’ll be at my goal weight.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I learned to never give up! This is a journey, not a quick fix.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Focus on small goals, create a reasonable plan that fits your lifestyle, and always remember that your journey is yours. Don’t compare yourself.

Hey Hun! Sorry for the late reply. Start of with something reasonable. For example, cutting your calories down to 1600, workout 3 times a week for 30 minutes. Also try cutting down on bread and soda intake and amp up your water intake instead. These small changes can get you started in the right direction. Hope this helps!!!
