Updated Dec 2020: Shout out to Tracy. She’s lost 24 more pounds for a total of 94 pounds gone.
Down from 193 pounds to 169 pounds: I’m never looking back. I refuse to go back to being sick because of the unhealthy food I was feeding my body. I was living an unhealthy, unfit lifestyle, and I want to prevent that from happening ever again. I continue to live a healthy and fit lifestyle by eating healthy 80% of the time. I work out six days a week, intermittent fast, eat a low carb diet, and drink at least have my body weight in water. Choosing myself and my health is the best thing I could have done for my family and me. @Tracylashae.Evolving
Posted November 10, 2019 – Transformation of the Day: Tracy lost 70 pounds with Keto, Intermittent Fasting, and green smoothies. She was experiencing extreme fatigue, body aches, and stomach pain. This mom knew that she needed to make her health a priority to benefit herself and her sons. Check out her story.
Starting weight: 263 pounds
Current weight: 193 pounds
Goal Weight: 160 pounds
When did you start your journey?
I started my second journey in April 2019 at 263 pounds. I’ve lost 70 pounds to date, and I’m no longer sick due to unhealthy eating habits. I am loving my journey and excited to see where this journey will take me!
This is my second time starting my journey. The first time was in December 2016, and I lost 60 lbs. However, life happens, and the weight came back on.
What was your motivation?
My motivation this time around wasn’t about using a quick fix to look good for an upcoming birthday, special event, nor a trip to Jamaica. My motivation came from me always being sick. I noticed that my health was at an all-time low. I began to feel like my body was failing me.
I had developed issues with my stomach to the point where everything I ate made me sick. My body ached, and I struggled to get out of bed due to extreme fatigue. I knew in April that I had to do something. I had to lose this weight, not to look good, but to be healthy so I can be around for my boys. I’m all they’ve got.
What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
What keeps me inspired is my health. I remember how sick I would get after eating unhealthy meals. I no longer feel that awful stomach pain. Also, I no longer have aches and pains. The fatigue is gone.
I look at pictures and videos, and I see how far I have come. I know that if I made it this far, I can do anything. Also, my accountable partner is so dope! We keep each other inspired.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started with JJ Smith’s 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. I also began taking her Liver Focus supplement. I drank a gallon of water a day. I also ate clean 80% of the time and started Keto and Intermittent Fasting, which took my weight loss journey to another level.
What foods did you stop or start eating?
I stopped drinking soda. I stopped eating bread, starchy foods, sweets, and junk food, which was my go-to. I went very low with my carbohydrates, and I began to eat more green vegetables. I also did an extended water fast during my journey.
What did your workout routine consist of?
My routine consists of HIIT cardio workouts. I work out six days a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I weighed 263 pounds, and my current weight is 193 pounds.
What is your height?
5’5″
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No surgery
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson learned is that you must change your thought process and not care what others think or how they feel about you and your journey. Also, I learned that you are your number 1 supporter.
