What was your motivation?
My motivation is definitely my family. I feel that I owe it to my children to be the healthiest and best version of myself so that I can be there for them as much as for whatever I possibly can! Growing up, my parents often missed out on things because of health issues that they had control over. I don’t want to put my kids through that.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started tracking my macros! I work with my brother, who is a trainer (he also lost over 150 lbs), and we supplement with vegan 1st Phorm protein powder!
I make sure I hit a set amount of grams of protein, fat, and carbs each day – aiming always to hit my protein goal of at least 100-150g of protein a day.
What is your workout routine?
I walk 12000+ steps a day, and I weight train.
How often did you work out?
I work out three-four days a week now.
What was your starting weight? 242 pounds
What is your current weight? 199.6 pounds
What is your height?
I’m 5’8″
When did you start your journey?
I started this journey in January 2022.
How long did your transformation take?
I am still working, but we are 11 months in.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey? No
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
JUST KEEP GOING!
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
CONSISTENCY…Even on the days or during the weeks when feels like there are no results.
