Update Aug 2016 – Tiffany is still going strong and has lost 5 more pounds. “I have lost over 37 pounds. I wanted to lose weight not only for myself but for my children as well. I changed my eating habits, drank more water and ate less junk food. My goal now is to continue to better myself.”
April 2016 – Weight Loss Story: Tiffany lost 32 pounds after pregnancy. This awesome mom wants to be in the best shape possible to care for her children. Check out what she shared with us about her journey.
I am a mom of 2 children, a 2 year old and a 5 month old. I am 5’3″ tall. I started out at 198 pounds after I had my second child. As of today, I weigh 166 pounds. I changed my eating habits dramatically. I also started out doing YouTube workout videos for exercise. Now, I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. I don’t have a particular goal weight in mind right now. I just want to be happy, healthy and comfortable.
My biggest motivation is my children. My 5 month old has a lot of energy and I would like to be able to keep up with him. My 2 year is special needs, non mobile, non verbal with multiple health issues. He depends on me for everything. So, I would like to be in the best shape as possible for my children as well. They are my main motivation.
I stopped drinking sodas, fried foods and pork. I still sometimes have my moments where I eat something bad, but I’m not going to put myself down about that. I started out doing mostly cardio. Now, I have started lifting weights (about a month ago).
My advice for others would be to never give up. As long as you are doing your best that is what counts the most.
