I receive messages from a lot of women asking for weight loss help. They want advice, they want tools, they want answers. Many of these women are actually ready to lose weight. They are willing to change their eating habits, exercise, and educate themselves so that they can develop their own unique weight loss sustaining lifestyle. The have shaken off the fear of failing again. They are willing to be uncomfortable and without the security blanket that food is for so many of us.
The other ladies want the same knowledge and information that their motivated sisters are asking for, but they will not act on it. Why? TRUTH: Desire to act and ACTION are not the same things. You can WANT to lose weight, but not want to do what it takes to lose weight.
What action should be taken? I say, do what you know to do, what you’ve heard all your life. You’ve read the books (if you haven’t, read some books), you’ve talked to your doctor, you’ve seen tips and advice in countless magazines and on TV. You don’t need another plan, diet, pill, shake, etc. You need to DO something about your health and weight. You are the only one who can put knowledge to action. Results will come in time, but only if you start changing your lifestyle in the now.
The only truth about weight loss is that you can’t lose weight if you’re not willing to change.
