Transformation of the Day: Takishia lost 39 pounds. Living life as a busy mom and managing an architect firm with her husband, she found herself struggling to release the weight. By working with a Keto Coach and following fitness programs, she got the guidance she needed to get results.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I gave birth to my first child in 2019 and wanted to lose the baby weight I had gained during pregnancy, but I found myself struggling. I am a first-time mom, and I help my husband manage our architect firm @b.i.designs, so this momma is busy busy.
I have always been active and somewhat of a healthy eater, but I found myself working out five days and eating what I called “healthy,” but the scale wasn’t moving, and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. Coach Dye with @KetoFineAF convinced me to try her program, and I am so happy that she encouraged me. This program has been life-changing, and I absolutely love it!
How did you change your eating habits?
I followed @KetoFineAF‘s clean keto eating program. Since starting the program, I have lost about 39 pounds! Before starting the program, I was nervous that I would not be able to enjoy some of the foods that I like. However, since starting the program, I have not missed any of the foods I enjoy! KetoFineAF provides amazing and easy-to-make food options. There is so much information that is given to support your journey!
What did your workout program consist of?
I would work out at least three days a week and I mainly did HIIT workouts. During this journey, I had the support of two amazing fitness programs, @slaythickfitness and @foreverwellthybysha. Both programs consisted of a weekly detailed workout program as well as support with healthy eating habits.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 228 pounds, and my current weight is 189 pounds.
What is your height?
I’m 5’2″.
When did your journey start? How long did your transformation take?
So, I began my fitness journey with Keto Fine AF in November 2020. I can honestly say that it was the best decision ever when it came to improving my health. I have been on this journey for seven months! The results speak for themselves!!
What is the biggest lesson you learned? What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
The biggest lesson that I have learned is that consistency is the key! I am happy to be part of such a fantastic group and would recommend the program to anyone ready to make a healthy lifestyle change and get fine at the same time!
The advice I would give to women who want to start their weight loss journey is not to be afraid. You can still enjoy all of the foods that you would typically eat with just a few modifications, of course. Lol! Eating healthy is good, and you can do it!
