My Name is Taffy. What inspired me to lose weight was when I stepped on the scale and it read 250 pounds. That is the heaviest I’ve every been. After looking in the mirror and not being happy with what I saw motivated me to jump into the gym. I also changed my eating habits.
I would eat every 2 hours. I cut out sugar, cut out bread and I upped my protein intake. I also started drinking a gallon of water with lemon every day. I worked out 6 days a week. I started lifting heavy and did an hour of cardio a day.
My current weight is 180 pounds at 5’4″ tall. I was a size 18 and now I’m a size 10. My goal is to be a size 8. It took me 8 months to see this transformation. I didn’t use any drugs, it was all natural.
My advice for others who want to lose weight: Stick to your diet! Take before and after pictures every 30 days. When/if you get discouraged, look back at your photos and they will motivate you to keep going. Also, never compare yourself to others. Just take it one day at a time and don’t just look for results. Look to make eating clean and working out a life long habit.
