What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My goal has always been to be the healthier version of myself and the best version of myself that I can be. So on the tough days, I try to stay focused, be consistent, and be intentional with everything I do.
How did you change your eating habits?
I actually had VSG on February 22, 2022. [vertical gastric sleeve surgery] I limited my intake of fried food and excess sugar after the surgery.
What is your workout routine?
I work out five days a week for 45 minutes at Burn Boot Camp, which has the equivalent of a HITT workout.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 328 pounds, and my current weight is 227 pounds.
What is your height?
5’8″
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started in January 2022. I saw immediate changes to my body and mindset because I also started counseling to help support my whole body change.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned to celebrate all my successes. I also learned that weight loss is not a linear process. You have stalls, and that can still be celebrated.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Enjoy the process, and don’t be hard on yourself. Each day is a new day to reach your personal goals.
