Sherri lost 45 pounds. Portion control, meal prep, and lots of exercise worked for her. During her journey, she gained self-control, and her energy levels increased.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was myself. What inspires me not to give up: When I put on that new pair of jeans that I’ve wanted to wear, it makes me want to try even more. I’m also inspired by the energy I have.
I would like to give a big thanks to Terry Starks because when everybody gave up on me he really helped me!
How did you change your eating habits?
I started using portion control and prepping my food. I ate six small meals in smaller portions. I had healthy food, like salads, fruits, vegetables with 4oz meat, and lots of water.
What did your workout routine consist of?
Simple and small. I worked out twice a day, 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 355 pounds, and my current weight is 310 pounds.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
October 2019. It’s been ten weeks.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, mam. None. Hard work pays off. Take it slow n’ steady so that the weight can stay off in the future.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I learned how to have self-control.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Be patient with yourself. Be happy with all of your accomplishments, especially the small ones. Believe in yourself.
