Transformation of the Day: Sherelle lost 51 pounds. This Advertising Executive and mom of two’s wake-up call came in an emergency room while dealing with a rude receptionist. She turned a negative experience into a positive one and learned the power of self-discipline. Check out her story.
I guess it’s time I change my profile picture.🤔 I’ve officially lost 51 pounds since February, and I feel so much better!
Last year I had a wake-up call. I went to the ER with pain in my side and
difficulty breathing. The Intake Receptionist took one look at me and said, “Fertile, 40, and fat. It’s your gallbladder.” 😳 Well, she was wrong. I actually had pneumonia!
However, she was right that I was under 40, able to have children still, and FAT! There is nothing like being called fat to your face to wake you up!
I never forgot that experience.
My pain level that day and my walk with Christ are the only things that kept me from…🙏🏾 Instead, I let these things motivate me. Before I got any
health issues like high blood pressure or diabetes, I needed to make some
changes. So, I put the fork down and started working out.
This process has humbled me so much. I will NEVER call someone fat in my life because I know what it takes to get there and what it takes not to be.
What was your motivation?
I have two little boys who love working out as a family with my very fit husband.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
Knowing that I would gain energy and still have my health.
How did you change your eating habits?
I strictly ate 1100 calories a day. No carbs, no cheating. I also used Intermittent fasting. I started eating at 2 pm and stopped eating at 6 pm.
What did your workout routine consist of?
My workouts consisted of jumping rope, HIIT, and strength training.
How often did you workout?
I worked out 5 days a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 227 pounds, and my current weight is 176 pounds.
What is your height?
5’3″
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started in February 2019. My transformation has taken about five months.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
Self-discipline. I’m writing a trilogy of Christian children’s books, and the last one is about the fruits of the spirit. As I studied self-discipline, my journey began, and I’m still allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
You have the power to take control of bad habits and self-discipline. Dig deep in knowing there is something inside of you waiting to be used as your strength.

I don’t know how I can build it up. If I had the money sure get it done by a doctor. My family don’t want me to do it. I feel like the but of the joke
