Transformation of the Day: Sheena lost 30 pounds. At 320 pounds, this mom decided that it was time for a major lifestyle change. She is still on her journey, but she is taking the time to celebrate her results. Check out how she’s taken action to shed the pounds.
What was your motivation?
Two years ago, I had twins. After pregnancy, I hit rock bottom emotionally and physically. That’s when I decided it was time for a change.
How did you change your eating habits?
I began to eat 5-6 times a day to speed up my metabolism. I stopped eating sweets, chips and fried foods. I also stopped drinking juice and soda. I don’t follow a specific diet plan. I just try to eat as lean and clean as I can. Things like lean meats and fresh produce. I eat high protein meals and complex carbs. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that nutrition is EVERYTHING. You cannot put train a bad diet.
What did your workout routines look like? How often did you workout?
I do HIIT workouts (High Intensity Interval Training) 4-5 days a week for 1 hour.

My starting weight was 320 pounds. My current weight is 290 pounds. My height is 5’3″.
When did you start your journey?
I started this journey in August of 2016. So far, it’s been about 4 months. This is only the beginning.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Stay consistent, don’t give up. If you fall off, it’s ok. Just pick up where you left off. Be in a constant state of prayer.
