Today’s featured weight loss success story: Shawn lost 30 pounds with Curves.
She said, “I lost 30 lbs on Curves! I increased my water intake, exercised 3-4 days/week (treadmill at home 1-2x/week) and did the Curves Complete Diet Plan. It has on-line support and meal plan assistance. I’m still working on it! 20-30 more pounds to go! I went from size 18 to 14! I actually wasn’t eating enough and was in “starvation mode.” My metabolism had shut completely DOWN! I went from 216 to 186.”

Thanks Andrea! It truly is 30 lbs! I have about 20-30 more to go and am taking my time! When I went in and discussed my eating habits and caloric intake, it was determined that I wasn’t getting enough calories(I only ate like once a day)and my metabolism was not working. Once I started eating breakfast and healthy snacks(according to Curves Complete Diet Plan), I immediately saw results! I was even able to lose weight while not working out. I was in a car accident and couldn’t work out for a few months and was terrified that I’d put the weight back on. I continued to follow the diet plan and actually loss 3 lbs and wasn’t even working out. I’ve been in maintenace for a few months and am now working on my next goal of 20-30. For me, it works better doing it slowly and giving your body a chance to stablize at a reasonable weight.

Light breakfast, 2 scrambled eggs, I ate Lean Cuisine meals for lunch each day and had nuts for a snack between meals or celery. I ate a light dinner, grilled chicken, fish, salad, taco salad and at least 64.5 oz of water. Exercise 3-4x:wk or make sure you take at least 10k steps. Get a pedometer.
