What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
What motivated me to lose weight was that after I had my daughter gained over 50 pounds. I was determined to get back in shape. I was breastfeeding and ready to lose weight.
I always was a person who worked out. So I gave my body eight months to breastfeed, and then I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery once I was done breastfeeding.
When I wanted to give up, what inspired me? I knew what I looked like before I had my baby, and I wanted to get back to who I was.
How did you change your eating habits?
I decided to research low-carb diets. I was trying everything, but nothing worked, so I decided to get a gastric sleeve. I did a liquid diet for a couple of weeks and then had surgery.
After surgery, I stopped eating everything: no sugar, no sweets, and no carbs. I could only eat less than 2 ounces of meat once a day with one portion of vegetables. The rest was a liquid diet.

Tell us about your workout routine.
In the beginning, I couldn’t work out for about a week. So after the week, I began to work out slowly at home, walking no more than 10 to 15 minutes a day.
Due to having surgery, I couldn’t do too much of an intense workout. After a couple of weeks, I pushed it up to 20 to 30 minutes a day, four days a week.
Starting weight/Current weight
My starting weight was 215 pounds, and my current weight is 164 pounds.
What is your height?
I’m 5’3″.
When did you start your journey?
I started my journey on October 6, 2021. My transformation took eight months.
Did you have any issues with loose skin?
I don’t have any loose skin. It’s very, very minimal due to weight training. [Per a recent Instagram post, after weight loss she had her breast done and a little lipo on her problem areas.]
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I have learned that you have to be consistent in what you do. But, you also have to be determined and never give up.
