Saundra lost 56 pounds. She lost weight back in 2018, but eventually got off track and gained some of the weight back after life’s challenges took their toll, including a back injury. With the help of her weight loss coach, recommitted to the healthy habits that helped her release the weight before.
We all have a story or journey to share. I shared my story with BWLW previously. Well, I fell off track on my journey and gained some weight back. We moved, I was unable to go to the gym as consistently as before, and I started a new job. I also injured my back and wasn’t able to exercise like I truly wanted to. One day, I could no longer fit my clothes, and my face was plump again. Nevertheless, I got back up and started again.
I contacted Terry Starks yet again, and he helped me get back on track. Without any hesitation, I got back on the journey! That’s what it is… a Lifestyle Journey. I explained my situation to him. He listened and got me back on track.
I started meal prepping again and worked on eliminating sugar. Then, I saw my energy and concentration improving. I focused a lot on protein and less fat consumption. Also, I watched the hidden sugars in foods because those add up.
I slowly started exercises once I completed physical therapy for my back, but therapy also helped me with easing back into exercising. I did a whole lot of stretches. I was so sore and felt it throughout my body. Nonetheless, I exercised every day, morning and night. I didn’t do anything too strenuous.
I lost 56 pounds and reduced my body fat percentage in 12 weeks. I’m so grateful to be able to feel better and look better. The best part is the strength I have. Long story short, I want every beautiful woman to know that no matter the circumstances or setbacks, you can always start again and come out stronger than before.
Right now, I’m close to my starting weight, but the only difference now is the muscle tone and definition that I have. I’m leaner and stronger. When I lost weight before, I was little and of petite stature.
I’m so grateful to be able to feel better and look better. Overall this past year has been an experience. I’m so thankful for you, all the beautiful women on the BWLW platform and for Terry Starks, The Phenomenal Diet Doctor. He truly understands.
My weight goes up and down, but one thing is for sure; if you are determined, consistent, and have a great support system, you can overcome any obstacles.
I want every beautiful woman out there to know that no matter the circumstances or setbacks that you can always start again and come out stronger than before. Just keep it simple. Take it one day at a time!
