What was your motivation?
On July 15, 2019, I finally decided to take my health seriously and embark on a weight loss journey. I want to avoid any health issues related to obesity in the future. I also want to become a better version of myself.
I became a priority in my life. I focused entirely on my health, my life, and my happiness. Some will call it being selfish, but I call it self care. I have lost 37 pounds so far. This is just part one.
How did you change your eating habits?
I did some research online and came up with a plan. I also stopped eating sugar and drinking juice.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you workout?
I worked out 3 to 6 times a week. I did cardio. I also did weight lifting, here and there.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 293 pounds. My current weight is 255 pounds.
What is your height?
I am 5’8″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned to be a priority in my own life.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Willingness is all you need.
