What was your motivation?
The motivation came when I saw my cousin Yanique’s results from using the Fitness on Fire Program. I figured that if she could do it, I could also do it. I tried working out on my own and tried other programs, but I still did not achieve results. Finally, seeing what my cousin achieved made me realize that this program is legit, and I wanted to try it.
What inspired you to start your weight loss journey?
I realized that my weight was on a steady rise. I didn’t like it and did not want to continue gaining weight. Also, I was not feeling strong, did not want to have any health issues, and complained about how I looked on a daily basis. I was not comfortable in my skin.
I wanted a change, so I decided it was time to focus on me and start feeling better about myself. The only way to start was to lose weight.
How did you change your eating habits?
I followed the direction from the Nutritionist Guru; eating at scheduled intervals and cutting out fast food/junk food. @NutritionistGuru provided me with plenty of healthy food choices, and I was able to create meals that I enjoyed eating, which was good because I like to eat.
The hardest for me was to stop eating pasta because that is my go-to comfort food, but I did it. I stopped eating pasta and everything white, including white rice, white flour, etc.
I began eating well-balanced meals, which I was not always doing before this program. By following the structure my nutritionist gave me, I didn’t feel like I was starving or lacking anything. I truly felt my body was changing from the way I ate differently and working out.
Tell us about your workout routine.
I started going to the gym 3-4 times per week but quickly changed that to 5-6 times per week. I just followed the workout regimen given to me by my online trainer, King of the Fire. The workouts are super easy!
How long did your transformation take?
I changed my eating habits first. Then, two weeks later, I started working out. I began to feel better right away and dropped pounds within weeks. Within two months, I was down 21 pounds. In 5 months, I’m down 32 pounds.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Just Do It!!! No one can do it for you. Only you can make a change. So keep a positive mindset, believe that you can do it, and follow the direction of Fire and Nutritionist Guru!! The end reward is all worth it.
This program worked for me because of the accountability, motivation, and constant encouragement. Nutritionist Guru was not only concerned with my results but also concerned with my well-being. She wanted to increase my confidence and was a great ego booster. Overall, the program is excellent and definitely worth trying.
