Transformation of the Day: Rock lost 30 pounds. She credits her friends for helping her stay motivated during her journey. Having specific goals for her eating habits and working out at home are two factors that contributed to her impressive results.
What was your motivation? What inspired you when you wanted to give up?
The support of my friends inspired me to keep going. They knew I wanted to make a change, so they were right by my side cheering me on.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started cutting carbs out of my diet. I followed the Keto diet. Once I did that, my calories decreased, and I was less bloated all the time. I stayed below 1200 calories per day.
Once I got close to my goal weight, I started adding more carbs with my Herbalife Nutrition shakes and learned to maintain my weight with proper nutrition. I also make sure to eat a lot of green veggies.
What did your workout routine look like? How often did you workout?
I started working out at my house five days a week. I used Brittne Babe’s home workout program. Once I got over my fear of the gym, I started weight lifting as well. Depending on my schedule, I made sure I was at the gym at least 4-5 days.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 165 pounds, and my current weight is 135 pounds.
What is your height?
5’1″
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started in February 2018. I lost my first 20 pounds in the first two months.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned that you won’t always be motivated to keep going. Consistency brings results
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Remember why you started and stay positive.
