10 years ago, Regina had weight loss surgery and has lost 185 pounds. She says, “On December 03, 2002, My life changed forever. I elected to have WLS & experienced every complication you could imagine & today I believe that I’m a better me because of it. People ask me all the time do I have any regrets and the answer is and always will be no. From 360lbs to 175lbs #win
I had the RNY (Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass). I’m very particular about what I eat. I do a lot of juicing , fresh fruits & veggies. I try to stick with all natural products and it’s rare that I eat out. I run 5 miles 4 days a week and hit the gym 3 days a week. The weird part is before surgery I was walking 6miles a day and eating pretty healthy.

It sounds as if you are comforting yourself with food. I could be wrong, there are not many details given but find a replacement that you can go to when you feel you need comforting and allow that to take place of the habits you have been forming since your mom passed. It will take a conscious effort but if you’ve lost that much weight already, I have no doubt in my mind that you can do it. You can keep it off. God Bless

I have heard so many horror stories and nay-sayers saying…you’ll gain it back. It’s wonderful to see someone who has not. Thanks for sharing your story.

God bless you Regina. You look awesome. I gained 20 pounds back because I lost focus on what was important. Getting back on track and I know that surgery is not a cure all but a tool that helps.
Kicking up my exercise regime to lose the 30 I can hit my original goal of 100 pounds and then work to get the last 20 to 25 off. It’s the belly, hips, thighs and rear that I have to focus on because that’s where I carry my excess .
Continued success and blessings to you!
