Great Transformation: Rachel lost 67 pounds. She credits Weight Watchers and lots of exercise as being key to her lifestyle change. Check out her story.
My name is Rachel. I lost 67 pounds over the course of the last year through Weight Watchers and exercising. I try to walk/run at least 3 days a week. This transformation has taken me 11 months so far. I still want to lose 20 pounds more. (height: 5’3″)
Eating Habits: I also cut gluten out of my diet for about 5 months. I stopped eating a lot of processed carbs and I started eating a lot more vegetables.
I like Weight Watchers because it has become a way of life, versus a diet. The program has taught me all about portion control and eating foods that are high in protein instead of empty calories. What made the plan work out for me was just strictly following my points plus.
What inspired me when I wanted to give up or when I wasn’t losing weight as fast as I wanted to? It was the fact that I felt so much better mentally and physically, and that I love buying new clothes. I’ve had to buy a whole new wardrobe. In addition. I had high blood pressure before losing the weight. Since I’ve lost the pounds, my high blood pressure is gone and I no longer have to take any medication.
Advice for others: Stick with a lifestyle change, versus a diet. That will help you keep the weight off.
