Quitley lost 31 pounds. She wanted to love how she looks in clothes and be as healthy as she can be in the future. She found that eating high-protein meals, jumping rope, and lifting weights was the perfect combination for releasing the weight.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I wasn’t happy with the way I looked in clothes or swimming suits. I knew surgery wasn’t an option. That left me to do the work myself, from scratch. My inspiration was my future self, having children, being there for my loved ones, and KILLIN it in a two-piece!
How did you change your eating habits?
I cut out dairy, white bread, and sugars. I stuck with high-protein meals and doubled up on veggies. Cheat day is one day out of the week.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I work out 5-6 days a week. I cut out cardio, added jumping rope, and lifted weights like crazy.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 193 pounds, and my current weight is 162 pounds.
What is your height?
My height is 5’4″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started this journey in 2017. However, I fell off and on. By 2019 I started getting serious and focused. I would say my transformation has been about a solid two years long and still going.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
NO! All-natural.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Discipline! I learned how to stick to this process, making it an everyday thing. Also, I learned what to eat. That’s the most complex part, yet the most rewarding part.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
Find a group of women who are on the same journey. It’s hard doing it alone. Get you the right team, and you’ll motivate and inspire one another.
