Transformation of the Day: Penelope lost 100 pounds. She started her journey in 2017 and lost the weight over the course of a year. Despite some ups and downs, she has worked hard to maintain her success for the last two years with exercise, intermittent fasting, meal planning, and consistency.
Losing weight and staying in shape is a never-ending lifestyle. I lost 100 pounds about two years ago, and I have completely created a new lifestyle. However, being FitNFine doesn’t mean you’re always fine. I dropped the ball at one point, but I picked it all back up with just two months of home workouts! Once you learn your body, you can change your life.
When I first started my journey back in June 2017, I lost 100 pounds naturally (over the course of one year) by simply working out six days a week, doing fasted cardio, a gallon of water a day, and practicing intermittent fasting.
This photo represents my most current weight loss (after dropping the ball). It just goes to show everyone that this is TRULY a journey. It’s a roller coaster, and there will undoubtedly be UPS AND DOWNS.
What is your motivation?
My motivation is simple. I cannot continue to carry around excess weight. I want generational health and generational wealth.
Tell us more about how you changed your eating habits?
The best thing I did to change my eating habits was intermitting fasting and scheduling my meals. It’s the best and only way to adjust, in my opinion. We have to be a lot more disciplined than motivated most days to eat right. That’s the toughest challenge.
Tell us about your workout routine.
My workout routine consists of lots of HIIT and weight training daily! I currently host 28-day challenges to help women around the world do the same.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 245 pounds, and I am currently 152 pounds.
What is your height?
My height is 5’7″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson that I have learned is that this journey TRULY is a marathon, not a race. Every single body is different. We have to find what works for each of us. I have learned that CONSISTENCY generates results.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice to ANY women who want to lose weight: IT IS POSSIBLE! Change your mind, and your body will surely follow!
