What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was the will to want to be a healthier and happier person. Even though there were plenty of days I wanted to give up, my determination wouldn’t let me.
How did you change your eating habits?
I stopped eating meat and leaned more towards green and leafy foods. I also added lots of fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet. No diet plan or program was used.
What is your workout routine?
Cardio and weight lifting are what helped me. I dedicated each day in the gym to one specific body part, so it all balanced out.
How often did you work out?
Four days a week for an hour and a half each day.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 281 pounds, and I am very proud to say my current weight is 197 pounds. So I made it to “One” derland.
What is your height?
I’m 5’2″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
My weight loss journey began over ten years ago. I was off and on over the years, but the most recent journey started in July 2021.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No weight loss surgeries, just a lot of hard work.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Always do what makes you happy, and remember to remain humble while doing so.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
You can do this. It won’t be easy and won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. Stay focused and be consistent. Now, go be great!!
