Shout out to Nicole. She lost 80 pounds and she’s kept the weight off for more than 2 years.
Nov 2016 – Nicole has continued to maintain her weight loss for 7 months and add muscle mass. Check out her update and the advice she has for people who would like to release the weight.
I have successfully maintained my weight loss and have actually have added muscle mass! I continue too work out at least 4 times a week, doing cardio and weight lifting. I’m still very dedicated to eating really healthy and I continue to practice moderation. Cardio definitely helps me with maintaining my weight and weights help me stay toned and defined.
I’ve learned to just go at my own pace and I do what’s best for me. I don’t compare myself to others because we all have different bodies. I set realistic goals and I achieve them because I focus on one thing at a time.
Advice: I would definitely recommend that people who are starting off set goals that they can accomplish. I mean realistic goals. Losing weight doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, patience and most of all dedication. I would also suggest hanging around people who are like minded. Don’t focus on just losing weight, focus on becoming and staying healthy. The weight will come off! And… last but not least… start your journey when YOU are ready and don’t do it for nobody else but You!
I have also created a YouTube channel that is focused on weight l0ss and how I lost 70+ pounds. I post workout videos each and every Monday, ‘Monday Madness Workouts”

May 2016 – Transformation of the Day: Nicole lost 72 pounds. In the times when she wanted to quit or didn’t see results, she pushed on knowing that every effort would build up to victory. She made practical, straight forward changes to lose the pounds and it all paid off. Check out her story.
I started from scratch, weighing 200 pounds in the beginning. Now, I weigh 128 pounds. My height is approximately 5’4″. This has been one heck of a journey, but I must say that it’s been well worth it. My transformation took about a year. Whew, what a journey!
What was your motivation?
I remember someone asking me if I was pregnant and I was like “Umm, NO”. I felt horrible about myself at that moment. After that, I began my weight loss journey and I’ve been succeeding ever since! I haven’t had any surgeries and I’m all natural.
How did you change your eating habits?
I had to stop eating junk food and drinking sodas. I began to eat a lot of baked/grilled chicken, fresh vegetables (celery, broccoli, corn, etc) and fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, pineapples, etc). I also drank tons and tons of water… and had lemonade occasionally. I practiced portion control and ate 3 meals a day (obviously breakfast lunch and dinner). I had things like nuts, yogurt, fruit and peanut butter for healthy snacks. I do have a cheat day, but for the most part I am very consistent when it comes to the healthy foods that I eat.
What did your workout routine look like?
My very first workout day was Dec. 28, 2015. Now, I work out 5 days a week and my workouts usually last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour. First, I do 20-30 minutes of high intensity cardio, followed by ab work and a cool down. I also do weight training.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The overall lesson that I learned was to stay dedicated, no matter what I felt like inside. There were days that I wanted to quit. There were days when I didn’t notice a single change. With every ounce of sweat I shredded, I knew it would all end up being worth it in the end. I gained so much power, power that I never knew I had inside of me. I’m more than a conquerer, and today. I stand proud knowing that I overcame every single obstacle that tried to hold me down on my weight loss journey!
What advice would you share with people who want to lose weight?
I’d tell anyone out there to keep pushing and don’t stop. You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it! This journey is your journey and nobody else’s. I hope that I can inspire others to never give up. Keep striving!
