Transformation of the Day: Nicole lost 43 pounds. After getting out of a bad relationship, she restarted her transformation journey with calorie counting, intermittent fasting, weight lifting, and cardio.
What was your motivation?
I had numerous attempts to try to lose weight. At one time, I lost 40 pounds in 3 months. Then, I got into a bad relationship and gained it back. After I got out of that relationship, I was happier, and I started losing weight again.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started by counting calories. I practice intermittent fasting with low calories. I eat somewhat the same, but I cut back. Now, I’m eating more vegetables, and I only drink water and tea.
How often do you workout?
I work out 4-6 days a week. I do weight lifting and cardio.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
Starting weight: 265 pounds
Current weight: 222 pounds
Lowest weight: 216 pounds
I actually lost a total of 49 pounds (so close to 50 pounds), but I am not even close to my goal weight. I am proud of myself, and I am getting stronger each day.
What is your height?
5’6″
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started around March 2019. At times, I wasn’t so consistent, but from my heaviest weight to now, the time frame is about two years.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I learned not to give up and to try to stay consistent.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
I promise that when you start losing weight, you will love the results and compliments.
