Nicole lost 21 pounds. Since June 2020, she has worked hard to transform her lifestyle and her eating habits. She cites consistency and discipline as being majorly important to her success.
Update: From March 2020 to June 2020 Nicole has lost 50 pounds. She weighed 200 pounds back in March.
My name is Nicole, and I am 33 years old. I started this journey because I was overweight, I didn’t like how my clothes fit, and I was always tired and out of breath. I was also not eating healthy. I decided to change my lifestyle and my eating habits.
When did you start?
I started my weight loss journey on June 5, 2020. I weighed 165 pounds at the time. I was very uncomfortable for my height: 5 feet tall. I currently weigh 144 pounds. It took me three months, and I feel fabulous.
I work out two times a day (45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes at night). I take a workout class twice a week, on Saturdays and Wednesdays. I do lots of cardio and full-body workouts, jumping jacks, burpees, and mountain climbers.
I drank lots of water and much healthier meals. Now, I eat more fruits and vegetables. I meal prep and portion out all my meals and snacks. I also use the products Herbalife, including shakes.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson is that your body can stand almost anything. It’s your mind that you have to convince. Make better eating choices and exercise daily. Stay positive and stay focused.
What advice would you like to share?
The advice I give to others is, “Stay consistent and be disciplined”. Consistency and discipline are key – 80 percent nutrition and 20 percent fitness.
I would love to inspire others to live a healthier lifestyle and go for whatever you want in life.
