Transformation of the Day: Natalie lost 68 pounds. She found her motivation while facing several health challenges, including pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, and swollen feet. She shared with us how she invested in herself and found a program that helped her adopt a healthy lifestyle.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My health and my life was at stake. I was pre-diabetic and had high blood pressure, swollen feet, a lack of energy, trouble breathing, and a lack of confidence.
When I saw the weight coming off and how much better I felt, I was simply amazed, and there was no turning back! I invested in myself to further improve my quality of life.
I kept going because I remembered how I felt before. Since releasing the weight, I feel soo much better. My blood pressure has improved, no more swollen feet, and I’m sleeping better. Also, I’m no longer pre-diabetic. I’m eating better, and I have increased energy.
How did you change your eating habits?
I followed a program called Omnitrition. I followed a portioned meal guide consisting of fruits, veggies, protein, grain, all-natural supplements, drops, and a gallon of water for a minimum of 21 days-creating life long habits!
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
With the program that I followed, working out wasn’t required.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 267 pounds, and my current weight is 199 pounds.
What is your height?
I’m 5’6″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started on April 4, 2021. It took me 7.5 weeks to lose 40 pounds
I rejoined in September to lose an additional 28 pounds in 5 weeks.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, I never considered it.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Health is wealth! Get your mindset in the right place and focus on the bigger picture. Eat to live, don’t live to eat. Make a lifestyle change so that you don’t return to the old habits.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Consistency is key! If you are determined and focused, it’s definitely achievable!
