Transformation of the Day: Nakia lost 55 pounds. She embraced healthy eating habits, worked out daily, and developed a new attitude. When she looks back at old photos, she’s motivated by her progress, which keeps her going.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
What motivates me is tracking my progress and looking at photos of how I used to look. I am so proud of how far I’ve come.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits drastically. I no longer eat from fast-food restaurants, and I do not eat snacks.
What did your workout routine consist of? How many days a week did you work out?
I do cardio and strength training. I work out daily doing Belly Fat Videos on YouTube. I also walk several miles a day.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I have lost a total of 55 pounds. I went from 280 pounds at the beginning of my journey to 225 pounds.
What is your height?
I am 5’4″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my Journey in December 2021, and I’m still working hard.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice to women is to stay consistent when it comes to working out. It’s ok if you only work out for 5 minutes on a lazy day, as long as it’s consistent.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No. I have no intention of getting weight loss surgery.
