Transformation of the Day: Najtoria lost 39 pounds. After getting married last year, she realized by the spring that she regained all the weight she lost for the wedding. She switched up her eating habits and hired a personal trainer to get these great results. Check out her story.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I got married in October 2018, and I got really comfortable after. In May 2019, I got on the scale and realized that I gained back all the weight I lost for my wedding…plus more.
How did you change your eating habits?
I learned more about portion control and started eating every 2 to 3 hours. Meal prepping helped me to eat more healthy as well.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I invested in an excellent personal trainer who could relate to my weight. I trained with her twice a week, but in total, I workout 5 to 6 times a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I’ve lost a total of 39 pounds. I am not comfortable sharing my weight just yet, but I can say that I was knocking on the door to 300 pounds.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started on May 7th and this total transformation took five months.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lessons I have learned are to trust the process and NEVER give up!
