Laporscha lost 65 pounds with healthy eating habits, exercise, and a new mindset. She learned that food can be enjoyable, even when you have to eat some things in moderation.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was to be happy with myself again. Even though I had confidence on the outside, I was not healthy on the inside!
How did you change your eating habits?
I started on a meal plan given to me by my trainer. Then, I learned how the keto diet works, and I fell in love!
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I am with a workout family called TrainwithTrina (TWT).
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 302 pounds, and my current weight is 237 pounds. I’m down 65 pounds.

When did you start your journey?
I started in March 2020, and I’m still going.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Nope.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Food can still be enjoyable, even if you have to eat certain foods in moderation!
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
It’s hard work. When you are tired, you have to find your motivation. It’s all about mindset.
