Transformation of the Day: Krissy lost 108 pounds. She figured out what works for her, from walking to weight training to healthy eating habits. Once she fell in love with the results she was achieving, there was no turning back.

What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation to keep going was falling in love with the results. Once I started to see results, I became addicted to that feeling. Also, I was very unhappy before I started and didn’t want to continue feeling that way.
How did you change your eating habits?
I stopped drinking soda completely, and substituted soda for water. That really played a big part in my weight loss. I also am a heavy late-night snacker, so I stopped eating those snacks and switched to healthier options.
What is your workout routine?
When I began my journey, I just walked. That’s all I did. I walked 10k steps a day. Once I lost over 100 pounds, I realized I should have also been lifting weights along the way, so now I am doing more weightlifting than cardio.

How often did you work out?
I exercise five days a week, Monday-Friday.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 310 pounds, and I got down to 202 pounds.
What is your height?
I am a tall 5’4″, lol.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, but I do think I will have skin removal surgery and a breast lift once I’m done.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in 2019, and it took two years of consistency.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson is to stay consistent. Keep at it. Even if you don’t see results tomorrow, the next day, or the day after that, keep going.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Just start. Don’t make a plan to start on Monday or next week. Today is the only day that matters. Start today. Start small. Also, set goals that are actually obtainable.
