Transformation of the Day: Kecha lost 79 pounds. She was unhappy, depressed, and hated the way she felt every day. By focusing on her goals, being dedicated, and learning to enjoy the journey, she has transformed her body and her lifestyle.
When did you start your journey?
I started my weight loss journey in 2017. I was unhappy, depressed, and just didn’t feel my best. I knew I had to make a change because I didn’t like the way I was feeling every day.
What was your motivation? What kept you inspired to keep going?
My motivation came from being able to have the chance to strive for my goals, and that’s what I did. I focused every single day. I found fun exercises that I would enjoy doing. I started following great fitness queens on Instagram. Doing this truly inspired me. I said to myself, “If they can do it, so can I.”
How did you change your eating habits?
I gradually changed my eating habits. I cut back on junk food and enjoyed fresh veggies and fruit with every meal. Water also played a significant part.
Tell us about your workout routine.
I worked out at least five days a week. My workouts consisted of a lot of cardio to burn the most fat.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 255 pounds. My current weight is 176 pounds. I’m currently down 79 pounds.
What is your height?
I am 5’7″.
How long did your transformation take?
It took about 12 weeks until I started noticing my results.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far would be to stay consistent and enjoy the journey. It’s a beautiful experience.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
The best advice I can give would be to keep going and stay consistent. There is a Big Reward at the end, I promise you.
