Transformation of the Day: Kaitlin lost 25 pounds by adopting better eating habits and working out daily. With help from her coach/trainer, she got awesome results and learned not to rush the process.
My trainer was Terry Starks. He has helped me lose a total of 25 pounds in 5 weeks! I thoroughly enjoyed Terry’s weight loss program. It does not require surgery, crash diets, or diet pills. Just strictly eating light.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I noticed that my clothes were not fitting the same and how heavy I felt when walking around. Constantly felt bloated and uncomfortable.
During my journey, I wanted to give up because of the strict diet, but people were complimenting my weight loss, and my clothes started to fit again. They even felt loose on me.
How did you change your eating habits?
I was given a meal plan each week to follow. The meal plan consisted of healthy foods like grilled chicken, ground turkey, vegetables, and salads. I stopped eating a lot of sweets, bread, and cheese. I noticed a difference instantly.
What is your workout routine?
Per the plan, I worked out twice a day for at least 30 minutes. My workouts consisted of walking, going to the gym, and weight lifting. (A lot of Cardio). The cardio helps complement the meal plans.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 235 pounds. Now I weigh 210 pounds, and I’m still losing pounds along with inches.
What is your height?
5 feet and 9 inches tall
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
Answer: I started my journey on 3/27/2023. Five weeks later, I’m 25 lbs lighter, and my journey is still going.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Surgery was NOT a part of my journey. There weren’t any diet pills or any extreme products included. Instead, I strictly ate the provided meal plans and worked out every day.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
That working out and eating healthy is a process and not to rush it. Also, I learned to think positively about myself while going through the journey and give myself more grace.
Lastly, it’s a mental thing- “Mind over Matter. ” Think long-term and how proud you’ll be when you start seeing results, no matter how long it takes.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
YOU CAN DO IT!! Every day, decide that you can tackle this challenge. Don’t worry about the process. Every day is a new day, and I have the opportunity to make a change.
