Today’s weight loss success story: Joetta lost 40 pounds by going vegan. She is a proud military spouse who’s husband is currently deployed. Here is what she had to say:
“I have lost 40lbs since march. I started at 204 now im 163.5. It was my goal to reach my preferred weight as a gift to myself and my husband who is currently deployed. I wanted to give him a new wife, inside and out. There is no better feeling than, being confident. My problem was food. I became a vegan, no fast food no junk food, only fruits, grains, and vegetables. I sometimes eat fish or seafood.

I have been looking into making the same changes. Thanks a bunch for the added motivation to move in the right direction for me. I hope to be on here one day inspiring others like myself. Thanks again for the motivation.

Way to go Joetta!!, you are my inspiration. You look really nice and I am sure your husband will be PROUD of you when he sees you again!
To Carmen, make that move lady. Let us women of color stop saying one day we will get there or start soon. I want to help motivate you, I need a motivational buddy. I joined a gym and am starting as of this week 12/7/12. I need to lose 29 pounds myself.
You see I work nights from the hours of 4pm to 2:30 a.m. during this time I get and sit at my desk, and snack all night, which I try to not too, and then do not sleep until 4:30 a.m. Of course not getting enough of sleep is not good, and too tired to exercise when I am awake, but NO MORE!, I am putting an end to this No Healthy Routine I have been in for nearly 8 months. Come on-join with me. I will post some before and after pics. Hit me with an email if you are onboard. This summer and the rest of lives, we will be All-That-n-Some!.
