Jeneann lost 37 pounds by working out and eating clean. This mother of two started her journey in December 2019, and she is still going strong. Meal prep and HIIT workouts are part of her routine.
My name is Jeneann. I’m 31 years old and a mother of two. Last year, I decided to get serious about losing weight and working out after seeing myself in a group photo.
When did you start your journey?
I started my journey in December 2019. Now, I’m down 37 pounds, and I’m still working out and eating clean
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My heaviest weight was 224 pounds, and I now weigh 187 pounds. My goal is to be 165 pounds.
How did you change your eating habits?
Every day is a challenge, but I try to stick to my diet. I meal prep every Sunday. I love fresh salmon, asparagus, eggs, and strawberries. I also drink lots and lots of water.
What is your motivation/inspiration?
My motivation is to improve my health and decrease my bad cholesterol levels. I was inspired by one of my friends, and I hope my story inspires someone else.
Tell us about your workout routine.
I do a lot of HIIT workouts, and my cardio workouts consist of walking and using the elliptical. I work out six days a week.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No weight loss surgery.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I learned is that not eating will not help you lose weight.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
Drink water, cut sugar and carbs, and find your motivation to keep going.
