Today’s featured weight loss success story: Jay lost 72 pounds.
She said,
“In 2008, I weighed in at 248 (which is the 1st picture). I felt bigger and wanted to loose weight so I did cardio and went on a cereal diet (unhealthy). In 2009 and 2010, I got really slim but gained my weight back and stayed around 209. During all of 2011 (the middle picture), I still wanted to loose but I didn’t feel healthy. In the beginning of 2012, I cut out beef and pork started taking vitamins twice a day. I drank 1 gallon of water a day, was on a high protein diet, and did strength training at least once a day. I lost majority of my body fat weighing in at 176 within 3 months. It’s not hard, you just have to want it!”

girl I just want to say, you really look great, and your gorgious! seems as though every time I try I start at like235 to maybe 250, and i get down to just over two hundred and get stuck, and wind up giving up! what do you do when you get to the point where you get stuck?
Latrina Holloway says
Arnetta I too am in the same boat! Smh! I began my journey at 237lbs (after having a baby), my highest weight yet! I’m 5’9″ tall and down to 211lbs. I’ve gotten to the point where my family doesn’t encourage or support me anymore. This is when my lack of motivation began to wear off. Jay’s story is encouraging b/c at one point she realized “it’s all about me”! I’ve yet to have this ah ha moment! When I do I’ll break free of everything! I am encouraged! I’m ready to reboot my journey once again! I have about 50lbs to lose. I’d like to know did Kay use the gym? Is it easier to purchase a in home weight center? Where do I begin and how do I stay focused? Jay you increased protein but did this include shakes and smoothies? So many unanswered questions! Thank you for your time! I’ve already said this on fb but, it can be said enough! You look amazing!!! Keep up the great work!
