Let’s show some BWLW love to Janeisha who has lost 90 pounds with Roux en-Y gastric bypass surgery. Here is what she shared with us”
I am a 35 year old wife and mother of 2 girls ages 11 and 15 years old. I’ve been obese for the majority of my adult life. Over the last few years, my quality of life had declined and my health was failing fast. I decided to have RNY weight loss surgery on September 25, 2012. Since then, I’ve started eating right, walking and running every day. I don’t have soda or sugary drinks. I have lost 90 pounds and counting!!! I have realized that surgery is just a tool and that in order to be successful I had to change my lifestyle. I thank God for a chance to take my life back!
My motivation was my children and husband. I have an amazing family and with severe sleep apnea, high blood pressure and diabetes, my quality of life was fading away. I walk and run 6 days a week outside and I am currently training to run my first 5K with Size Healthy trainer Nataisha Ramirez

Good job on your weight loss and just keep praying to god for endurance and strength because in the end he has the final say so not man and yes I am considering this surgery I have been trying for 5 yearplus to lose this weight ,I am an emotional eater so at the end of the day yes you should eat healthy but when you have a lot of things going on and feel you cannot mangage it can be a test. I have walked but injured myself that slowed down my weightloss down because when you have a knee injury that is another story with exercising, also having sleep apnea ,highblood pressure, anxiety ,high cholesterol and depression a few other setbacks ,so basically good for those of you who lost it own your own , eveyone has their own story to tell and long as you pray before surgery god has the final say so and it is not a sin to have surgery in love though
