Jae lost 74 pounds. Congestive Heart Failure could not stop her from being healthy for her daughter. She learned that healthy eating habits are the key to success.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started in 2017, and it took one whole year.
Motivation: What inspired you to keep going?
What inspired me was having a daughter and not wanting to give up on her. I also had Congestive Heart Failure.
How did you change your eating habits?
I stopped eating greasy foods and junk food. I fasted, drank protein shakes, drank lots of water, and ate healthier in general.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you workout?
I worked out six days a week. I did cardio, ran 4 miles a day. I also did heavy HIIT routines.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 219 pounds, and my current weight is 145 pounds.
What is your height?
5 feet tall.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Nope. No procedures. My weight loss is all-natural.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I learned never to give up, even if it hurts.
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Eat healthy. It’s been a 60\40 thing for me. 60% fitness and 40% eating healthy.
