Today’s featured weight loss success story: Jadda lost 70 pounds.
“I lost 70 lbs. My max weight was 225 pounds in 2010 (size 18). I’m a size 8/10 now and my weight is 155 pounds. I am 24 years old and I’m preparing to compete in a bodybuilding competition some time next winter. I basically lost the weight by cutting carbs, sodas, fried foods, whole milk, etc. I’m pretty much a vegetarian ,20% meat, but also making sure I get my nutrients and protein with a good multivitamin and protein shakes. Exercise is also part of the equation. My favorite aunt passed away overweight (600+) due to health complications in 2009 and that inspired me to change my eating habits and exercise routine.”

I like your weight loss story. I am trying to lose weight without doing the fad diet thing, but its hard. As of January 1st I haven’t eaten any potato chips or drank any pop. Giving up the pop wasnt as hard as I thought it was gonna be; but the potato chips, OMG, I crave those like crazy, especially at “that time of the month”. I think I will try giving up carbs too. I dont drink milk so thats a plus. I just brought a blender/food processor so I can liquefy some fruits and veggies and that will be a big help too. I’m not really doing exercise right now, because I live in Ohio, I’m anemic, and me and the cold weather do not get along. When it starts warming up, I will be back out there walking. Congratulations on your weight loss. I hope to be putting my success story up next year. I hope you win at the competition as well. Take care, and keep up the good work!

hi, really watching what I eat. I was born raised and live in the country so country cooking was what I ate everyday. lol I cut out all that stuff and actually kinda brainwashed myself to view it as sickness and death. and it was if I continued to eat like that and not exercise. u have to change ur lifestyle it’s not a diet oatmeal an egg whites for breakfast. only whole grain carbs and limited. no pork, turkey bacon. I use a app called “My net diary” on my phone to calculate everything I eat cals I burned and my achievement of daily goals. after a while of doing this it will become your second nature ass u get older it’s harder to drop weight but changing your lifestyle is what matters. my trainer is 60 years old black woman! I wish I was as fit as she was ! I exercise 6 days a week. you can do it!! olive oil or coconut oil. no fried foods I allow myself one cheat day a week

its different phases to weight loss I loss alot of weight first by changing my eating habits then built muscle but I lost alot of my butt lol
but I exercise 2-3 hrs a day seeing I don’t have kids; yoga, palates, cardio, and weight lifting
25 mins of cardio 5 mins on a incline of 10.5 @ 3.6 mph
1 hr of group yoga or palates for balance and strengthening
here was today’s lifting routine 25 mins of cardio
200 sit-ups
60 leg press of 162 lbs
6*8 sets of seated pull ups
12 sets of curls @ 50lbs 10 reps 6 underhand 6 overhand
I take preworkout for motivation
and a recovery pak for soreness- glutamine complex, biocore recovery enzymes, creatine 189 (no bloating, drink lots of water) and a all natural anabolic. i usually take one or the other for recovery and protein shakes. i do GNC extreme 60 now. thinking about switching to herbal life. and try CLA to burn the stomach fat 3,000-4,000mg a day @ gnc. they may try to sell u the ripped pack that has that in it plus your multi & a mild thermo igniter but if your on a budget the CLA will work just fine 3-4 pills a day and split them up 2 early 2 later. CLA burns bellyfat
