Isa lost 140 pounds with weight loss surgery and she looks amazing. She says, “I originally lost 70 lbs (from 278 to 208) from the LA Weight Loss Program in 2005/2006. I then went up to 294 (which is pictured above) in December 2009. I had the gastric bypass surgery in December 2009 and with hard work and dedication I lost 140 lbs. My lowest weight was 154 lbs. I had a baby November 2011 and prior to my pregnancy and marriage I maintained my weight by eating healthy and keeping active. I have about 30 lbs to lose from my pregnancy and tubal ligation but with hard work and dedication I know I will lose it. I support whatever healthy weight loss tactics work for you. I have never really been consistent with exercise but I now realize that it is essential and I will start to incorporate more activity into my everyday life. I am also looking forward to participating in your December challenge.”

First of all, Congratulations! Weight loss is not easy, and especially not after WLS. WLS takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You look FANTASTIC! I have a question though. It seems like every woman I know who had gastric bypass, and loss 100+ pounds, lost most of the muscle in their breasts and had a lot of hanging skin. Can you please share the subsequent surgeries you have had to get your current look? I am guessing a breast lift and a tummy tuck or possibly lipo suction? I just think that it is important that people understand that it is not likely that they will look that good after WLS, unless they have plastic surgery. If I am wrong, please accept my apologies.

I was wondering the same things about extra skin and your breasts. I’ve lost 46 lbs. through diet & exercise & I notice some extra skin and that my breasts are shrinking! Yours look amazing! So did you’d body just naturally turn our like that or is there something I can do to help perk up! Lol! You look great! Go girl!

I was wondering the same thing because I had the sleeve surgery in May. Have lost 70lbs and I’m very loose and have excess skin on my thighs and arms. My breast are smaller and loose as well. I do know my bodys build was always soft and loser but I thought with weight loss and exercise it would be different. Im thinking its the speed of the loss and not excessive exercise. Please share your regimen!!!!

Isa, Congratulations! I just like everyone else am inquiring on how you were able to achieve your new look. I too had Gastric Bypass in March of 2012 and having lost 105 lbs I do have hanging skin (arms, thighs, breast).
I’m very comfortable in the size I am in, however not too excited about the skin I do have. I have started working out, but really need to know if I should be saving money for plastic surgery.
Please let us know and again, you look FAB!
