What was your motivation?
My children
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
The commitment I made to save my own life kept me going.
How did you change your eating habits?
I used my own program that I created. It’s a calorie deficit plan where I gradually started cutting out fried food, sugar, processed food, alcohol, and starchy foods.
I began eating more vegetables, fruit, and low-fat proteins like lean turkey, chicken, or fish. I went 30 days without meat and increased my water intake. I also changed the way I cooked my food and started eating more raw.

I’m an Xtreme Hip Hop Instructor
How often did you work out?
I work out 3-4 times a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 417 pounds, and my current weight is 324 pounds.

I’m 5’9″
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in 2021. It took about one and a half years.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned always to put my God first and me second.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Change and train your mindset and the body will follow.
