In 2013, I gained 30 lbs in 3 months. I struggled to get the weight off to no avail. After the loss of my husband in 2016, I continued to struggle.
When did you start your journey?
At the beginning of 2019, I decided to focus on me.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started by doing Keto off and on. Then, I got serious in February of this year. JJ Smith’s green smoothie cleanse, and Keto are the staples of my weight loss journey.
What does your workout routine consist of?
My routine consists of 2-5 days of cardio along with weightlifting. I am currently working out 3-5 times a week.
Starting weight/Current weight
My starting weight was 264 pounds. I currently weigh 226 pounds. That’s a total of 38 pounds. I have not reached my goal weight yet. My transformation thus far has me excited.
What is your height?
My height is 5’4″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson I learned so far is white products [white flour, white sugar, etc.] are not good for you when you are trying to lose weight
What advice would you share with people who want to lose weight?
My advice for anyone trying to lose weight is to toss the sugar and all
white products. Also, Know this: fat doesn’t make you fat. Sugar does.
