Eunice lost 35 pounds. She wanted to live a fuller life and create a healthy lifestyle that supports her future goals of raising a family. She found a coach who gave her the support and guidance she was looking for.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was my health. I wanted to get healthy to possibly get married and have children (my ultimate goal in life), along with just being healthy overall. What inspired me was the fact that I want to live a fuller life. Getting healthy and losing weight opens the doors for that to happen.
I was scrolling on Facebook and found some transformations done by Terry Starks. I decided if they could do it, so could I. The rest is history, as they say.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started by doing a 180-degree turn by following everything Terry Starks gave me. He sent me a five week meal plan that was easy to follow and cheap. He also gave me an exercise plan which was very easy for me to integrate into my life.
I stopped eating fast food, sugar, salt, and high-fat foods. I went from high sugar to natural sugars, like fruit, and incorporated vegetables and lean meats into my meals.
What did your workout routine look like?
I was pretty much sedentary before using Terry’s plan. I started out with just 30 minutes of exercise each day. Then, I increased to 30 mins twice a day after three weeks. Eight weeks later, I am working out for 35 minutes twice a day and feeling fantastic. I am a huge fan of Terry Starks, and I feel that his program has changed my life!
In the beginning, I used workout tapes and walked since I did not feel comfortable going to the gym. Zumba was on of my favorites, along with Turbo Jam. I have since purchased an exercise bike and cycle between using that, walking and using my exercise tapes, I have not done any weight training at all but at some point I will add it in.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 256 pounds, and my current weight is 221 pounds. I lost the weight in 8 short weeks.
What is your current height?
My height is 5’9″.
When did you start your journey?
I started my journey on November 17th, 2019.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I have learned to discipline myself and that I can achieve anything. I went from being sad and down about how I looked to looking and feeling amazing! I plan to continue this journey until I am at my goal weight and dress size.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
If you genuinely want to lose weight, know that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, and one workout at a time. You can achieve your goals. This is what Terry Starks has instilled in me through his advice, encouragement, and his diet and exercise plan. You can transform your life and your body.
