Emily lost 7kg/15 pounds. Portion control, drinking more water, eating more veggies, and hitting the gym worked for her. She learned how powerful eating habits are when it comes to releasing the weight.
I was unhappy with my weight and the way I looked, so I changed my diet around. I started reducing my meal portions, eating fewer carbs, and adding more vegetables to my diet. I also drank a lot of water, and I joined the gym.
What is your workout routine?
I go to the gym at least three times a week. If I don’t go to the gym, I will do home workouts.
Starting weight/Current weight
I started my journey at 90.02kgs/198.4 pounds. My current weight is 83.45kg/183.9 pounds. My weight loss goal is 80kgs/176.3 pounds. I weigh myself every week.

I am 5’5″.
When did you start your journey
I started my weight loss journey on the November 21, 2019. It will be two months on January 21, 2020.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned that what you eat is the biggest factor in losing weight. I also learned that drinking lots of water is part of a healthy diet. Sometimes people confuse thirst with hunger. You may end up consuming extra calories when a glass of water is actually what you need.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
My advice would be to keep being consistent and never give up. Keep pushing, and always stay positive. Start where you are, use what you have and do what you can.
