How have you maintained your success and continued to lose weight?
I follow the instructions from my nutritionist, NutritionistGuru, and online trainer, King of the Fire, of the amazing Fitness on Fire Online Training program. I am so thankful for the accountability because I don’t think I would be successful without it.
I know what I can eat and what I cannot have. NutritionistGuru gives Me an easy structure to follow with lots of options. I just need to stay within the portion sizes and not skip meals. As far as exercise goes, staying consistent is the key. Exercise has become a part of my daily routine.
What obstacles, hurdles, or setbacks have you faced during your journey, and how did you get back on track?
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my anniversary were definite obstacles to get through, but I remembered why I’m doing this. I didn’t start this journey to quit or give up. Obstacles, hurdles, and setbacks are going to happen throughout your journey. I just don’t beat myself up when those setbacks get the best of me. I try very hard to stay the course.
Of the lessons you’ve learned on this journey, what stands out the most?
What I’ve learned most about my fitness journey is that weight and losing inches are two different things. The inches and fat loss mean more than what the scale says. I cannot compare myself to anyone else’s journey. Our bodies are all different, and therefore our paths to our goal bodies are different. I would have never learned any of this without the Fitness on Fire.
This program has helped me tremendously and given me my confidence back. I didn’t know how to lose weight before this program came into my life. I didn’t know what to eat or what machines to use in the gym. They taught me what I needed to do to be successful. Because of this program, I am no longer on blood pressure medication or cholesterol medication. I have seen firsthand that this program works. If you look at my photos, you can see that this program works. I am not what I used to be because of this program.
Losing weight is a major accomplishment for anyone. I look forward to wearing outfits that compliment me instead of wearing things to cover up my problem areas. That alone is a confidence booster. When you look good, you feel good, and that shows through your personality.
Debra lost 32 pounds and lots of inches. She is determined to get off high blood pressure and cholesterol medication and be in the best health possible. With help from her trainer and her nutritionist, she made exercise a priority and switched her diet to whole, nutrient-rich foods.
