Debbie lost 34 pounds by going Keto and working out. She started her journey in 2019 to avoid a family history of diabetes and get her energy back.
When did you start your weight loss journey?
My journey started in February 2019. At the time, I weighed 211 pounds. I went through a divorce during my journey, and in April 2019, I gained 10 lbs back. Now, I weight 177 pounds. My total weight loss is 34 pounds.
What is your motivation?
My family has a history of diabetes. I was feeling sluggish and exhausted on a daily basis. I also did not like the way my clothes were fitting. I wore a size 16 in pants, and now I wear a size 12.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started following the Keto Diet and working out. I cut out all junk food, cookies, and cakes. I rid my self of sugar and stopped drinking soda.
I have not had and pork or beef in months. I now eat Salmon, chicken, and salads, along with healthy snacks. However, I do have a cheat day.
I drink whey protein shakes after my workouts. I also detox two times per week with Total Life Changes Tea, and I use NutraBurst (multi-vitamin) every day.
Tell us about your workout routine.
I walked four miles per day, three times per week.
What is your height?
My height is 5’4″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson: never cheat yourself out of a healthy lifestyle.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
I never thought about any weight loss surgeries.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
Never give up. When I see my results and the way I feel now, that motivates me to work out five days per week.
