OMG!! I’ve been so busy at work this week but I’ve been making time for smoothies. Some of my co-workers have noticed that my face looks slimmer and that I seem to have more energy. I’ve got that smoothie glow. LOL I don’t have anything special to share today, so on to the recipes.
Today’s Recipes
Pear Blueberry Freeze Smoothie
- 1 diced pear
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup plain yogurt (you can also use a low sugar lemon yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
- 1 cup of ice
Romaine, Apple and Fiber Smoothie
- 1 cup plain almond milk
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 golden delicious apple (chopped up)
- 1 cup Romaine Lettuce (if loosely packed use 2 cups, cut in strips for easy blending)
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- ½ cup dried Apricots (optional, soak for 2 hours before using)
- 1 cup of uncooked steel cut oats
Topical Fiber Smoothie
- 1 cup Fiber One Cereal
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup dried coconut (no sugar added)
- 1/4 cup flax seed (or flax meal)
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- 1/2 cup of water
