What was your motivation?
I am a breast cancer survivor, and I had a lot of health issues because of my weight, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I wanted not just to survive, but I wanted to live.
How did you change your eating habits?
I practice intermediate fasting, eat a low-carb diet, and mainly drink water.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I hired a personal trainer, and I weight train and do HIIT workouts.
How many days a week did you work out?
4 to 5 days a week
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 210 pounds, and my current weight is 167 pounds.

I’m 5’2″
When did you start your journey?
April 2021
How long did your transformation take?
One year and three months. It’s still a work in progress.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, I didn’t have surgery.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
You can be fit at any age. I am 53 years old and going strong.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
Take it one day at a time. When you fall short (and you will), learn from it and get stronger but don’t give up.
